1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how [Company legal name, e.g. Reclaimr, Inc.] (“Claim,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our website, apps and related services (the “Services”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Claim helps people find class action settlements they may qualify for and prepare claims. We are not a law firm and are not affiliated with any court, class counsel, defendant or settlement administrator.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address and password (stored in hashed form).
- Eligibility answers: the companies, products and services you tell us you have used, the state you live in, and similar answers that help us match you with settlements.
- Claim information: your full legal name, mailing address, email, and your preferred payout method and handle (for example a PayPal email or Venmo username).
- Proof documents: receipts, photos or notices you choose to upload when a settlement requires them.
- Communications: messages you send us and your communication preferences.
We do not ask for your Social Security number or bank account numbers. If a settlement pays by direct deposit, the official administrator collects those details directly.
