Costco

No payout yet

This case is still being litigated — there’s no settlement fund, so there’s nothing to claim yet. We’ll notify you if that changes.

What Happened?

This lawsuit alleges that Costco violated California’s Automatic Renewal Law by sending membership renewal notices that were untimely and missing required information. Plaintiffs claim Costco sent renewal notices about 60 days before charging customers, which falls outside the legally required 15–45 day window, and failed to clearly disclose key details such as the renewal terms, amount to be charged, and how to cancel. As a result, consumers were allegedly automatically charged for memberships without proper notice or the opportunity to cancel.

Could Costco Owe Me Money?

Possibly, but not yet. No settlement has been reached, so there’s no fund and no fixed amount — Payouts range from $20-$40+.

If the case settles or a court rules in the class’s favor, we’ll show the real payout terms here and notify everyone on the waitlist.

Who Might This Case Cover?
