No payout yet
This case is still being litigated — there’s no settlement fund, so there’s nothing to claim yet. We’ll notify you if that changes.
What Happened?
This class action alleges that Google LLC continued to collect and transmit mobile “app activity” data from users’ devices even when users had turned off or “paused” the “Web & App Activity” (WAA) and/or “Supplemental Web & App Activity” (sWAA) settings. The complaint asserts claims of invasion of privacy, intrusion upon seclusion, and violation of the California Comprehensive Computer Data Access and Fraud Act (“CDAFA”). Google denies wrongdoing and the court has not yet determined liability.
Could Google Owe Me Money?
Possibly, but not yet. No settlement has been reached, so there’s no fund and no fixed amount — Payouts range from $1-$50+.
If the case settles or a court rules in the class’s favor, we’ll show the real payout terms here and notify everyone on the waitlist.
