What Happened?

This lawsuit alleges that Liberty Mutual failed to adequately safeguard sensitive customer information, resulting in a ransomware attack that allegedly exposed the personal and health information of more than 15,000 policyholders. Plaintiffs claim a ransomware group known as Everest exfiltrated sensitive data, including personally identifiable information and medical records, and that Liberty Mutual failed to properly encrypt, redact, or otherwise protect the information from unauthorized access.

Could Liberty Mutual Owe Me Money?
